Privacy Policy
Effective July 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Brilliant Empire LLC ("Brilliant Empire," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our websites, funnel pages, client portal, and related services.
This document is a general SaaS-style draft provided for transparency. It is not legal advice. Have a qualified attorney review and customize it for your jurisdiction and data practices.
1. Information We Collect
Contact and project information: name, email, business name, project details, and messages you submit through contact forms or booking tools.
Account information: name, email, role, and project associations when you use the client portal.
Billing information: package details, amounts, and payment status. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
Technical and usage data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from IP, including via cookies and similar technologies when you consent to analytics.
Communications: emails and support messages you exchange with us.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to provide and improve our services, respond to inquiries, deliver project work, operate the client portal, process payments, send transactional emails (invites, billing notices, signature requests), secure our systems, and - only if you accept analytics cookies - measure marketing performance and site usage.
3. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Essential cookies: required for the site and portal to function (for example session/authentication cookies). These are necessary and are not blocked by the cookie banner.
Analytics and marketing cookies: tools such as Google Analytics and Meta Pixel help us understand traffic and campaign performance. These load only after you click Accept on our cookie consent banner. If you Decline, we do not load those analytics scripts for your browser.
Your choice is stored in your browser (localStorage key be_cookie_consent). Declining analytics does not prevent you from using the website or client portal. Clearing site data may cause the banner to appear again.
4. How We Share Information
We share information with service providers that help us operate the business, including hosting and databases (such as Supabase), payment processing (Stripe), email delivery (Resend), and - when you consent - analytics (Google Analytics, Meta).
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell your personal information for money.
5. Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide services, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary by data type and engagement.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use strong passwords and protect your portal credentials.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email hello@brilliantempire.net. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
You can manage analytics cookies via the Accept/Decline banner. You can also control cookies through your browser settings.
8. Children's Privacy
Our services are directed to businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the age required by local law). If you believe a child provided information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
9. International Visitors
We are based in the United States. If you access our services from another country, your information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate.
10. Changes and Contact
We may update this Privacy Policy by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Significant changes may also be highlighted on the site or communicated by email when appropriate.
Privacy questions or requests: hello@brilliantempire.net.
